Evaluation Process
Evidence-based compassionate treatment relies first and foremost on knowing that you are treating the right things with the right approach. A thorough evaluation is the cornerstone of my treatment methodology.
We will begin by getting to know each other in a short consultation appointment. This will be a time for you to ask questions and decide if my practice is right for you.
If we do decide to move forward in treatment we will schedule a 90 minute telemedicine based appointment for a comprehensive discussion of your current symptoms, history, and goals.
Before we see each other you will also fill out background paperwork, often including rating scales so that we have objective measurements to follow your progress over time.
These steps will allow me to have all the information about you that I need to provide you with individualized and goal-oriented treatment options.

Treatments Offered
My treatment plans are both comprehensive and geared to get you going toward your goals as efficiently as possible while minimizing side effects.
We will utilize any number of the following strategies in our time together:
Medication management through personalized blends of western (allopathic) medications and herbal medications/supplements
De-prescribing for those who feel they would like to simplify their medication regimens while maintaining stability.
Traditional laboratory workups
Pharmacogenetics testing to determine genetic factors that may contribute to your experience of medication
We will also look at each person’s general health, nutritional status, and day to day routines to find areas that could be improved through lifestyle modifications. We will then create a plan to incorporate these changes in a way that respects you as an individual, and is in line with your overall values.

Follow-Up
Follow-up will be scheduled based on clinical need and progress toward your goals. When starting or changing treatment we will typically meet every 2-4 weeks for close monitoring of effects and tolerability. Once stable and goals are met, most patients are seen every 3-6 months.
Patients also have access to me through secure messaging should needs arise between appointments
